Non-stop
Things have been going non-stop lately. My Google Calendar has been pretty full the past few weeks. Sometimes I wish I could just set aside a full week/weekend to just be a homebody. It's not that I want to be anti-social, it's just that I want time to myself or time to sleep in or time to just sit still for a while. I did get to do that over Labor Day weekend, but that feels like so long ago!
In other news... TiFaux is beginning to fill up again. Some highlights from this week include "Dingo and the Baby!" on Family Guy, the great new series Studio 60, the potentially great new series The Class, Asians winning on Survivor, and the 3rd season premiere of Grey's Anatomy tonight!

And we've hit a new low...
I just bought JoJo's new single off of iTunes. It felt so wrong, yet so right.

What's goin' on?
- Labor Day weekend came and went... I never even went outside on Sunday and Monday. It's nice to do that every once in a while. Stayed in Sunday to watch V for Vendetta, I have to say it's even better watching it the second time around. Monday we cooked brats (on the stovetop cast iron grill) and watched more TV. At least Barry got some work done in the yard this weekend, he's so productive.
- For some reason I've been creating/researching my family tree on Ancestry.com. You would think with a name like Arnson (being unique and all) it would be easy to search for and find. It's not. Martin was the easier side because basically some other guy did all of the work. Apparently I'm a descendant of Christian Martin, born in Switzerland in 1644. His son (another Christian Martin) immigrated in 1732 to Pennsylvania. Basically that whole line of the family (maternal grandfather's line) is Pennsylvania Dutch / Mennonite. I think it was my great-grandfather that broke away from the Mennonites... thank goodness.
- I've been obsessed with My Publisher and Picasa lately too. Re-doing my Amsterdam book got me into making a book from our Honeymoon pictures. Next I'll be tackling the Wedding pictures... which will probably take forever, because I have well over 1,500 pictures.
- I also got our return address labels in the mail yesterday. I ordered them from The Stationery Studio and they are fabulous. It's all about the small things that make me happy.

Notes from the game
- Starting to tailgate at 2:30 was clearly not early enough.
- Bringing the new Smoky Joe was a big hit.
- Sunscreen would have been useful.
- I didn't take my camera into the stadium because it looked like it was going to rain... it didn't.
- Pre-game was awesome: fireworks during the National Anthem and an F-18 flyover.
- The game seemed weird with no Notre Dame band.
- Andre 3000 was on the sidelines.
- All in all a great day... too bad we lost.
