Don't you want to buy some furniture?!

Barry and I put some furniture on craigslist and have made a few bucks so far, but we've still got a lot of stuff to get rid of. We really just want see it go out the door. Make us an offer we can't refuse! (contact me at rebekah at imcingular dot com)

So about that house...

So yeah... Barry and I are now homeowners. Long story short - we made an offer on the house March 17th, we heard that it got accepted the following Sunday night, and we closed on the house this past Wednesday! I didn't really talk much about it because I didn't want to jinx anything before we actually sealed the deal. The closing went really fast... it seemed almost too easy. Our real estate agent and our mortgage lender both said we were some of the easiest clients to work for.

After the closing, we got our keys and a check (yeah... not only did we not have to pay anything at closing... we got money back... how crazy is that?) and a bottle of champagne from the closing attorney and headed to East Point to take pictures and measure rooms and whatnot. We even met one of our neighbors, who was really nice. He said that a neighborhood association was just being formed in the area. We even have a neighborhood rooster. Crazy!

Now we just have to move... cookouts, car washing parties, movie nights, board game nights (go Team Arnson)... coming soon. =)

How to keep up with hakeber until July...

Keep in mind that this is in addition to regular work stuff, class/internship requirements, weekly trivia, and general "me" time. I just hope I make it through April!
