Wedding Update!
So this past Sunday, Barry and I went up to Glen-Ella to show Barry's parents around and have dinner and meet with the wedding coordinator. It was great! We even got to see some snow flurries when we were walking around the property. I think Barry's parents are even more excited about the wedding, now that they have been to Glen-Ella.
So... we have photographers, the bridesmaid's dresses are picked out, the menu is being decided on... the main things I need to be doing now include: picking out invitations, ordering flowers, ordering booze (Glen-Ella is in a dry county), and picking a cake.
T-minus 121 days!

The Aftermath
So the Super Bowl party has come and gone. Thanks to everyone who came, I hope you had a good time. I think I watched maybe two commercials and about five minutes of the actual Super Bowl... the rest of the time was spent in the kitchen and dining room... and that was perfectly fine with me! I did have my camera out, but only remembered to take pictures after everybody had left. (I'll put them on Flickr later.)
And then there was Grey's Anatomy... so good. I love the write-up from the writer of the episode here. I also love how the episodes are usually titled with songs. The title of the Super Bowl episode was "It's the End of the World"... next week's episode is supposedly (from the website) "(As We Know It)"... does that mean the next one will be "And I Feel Fine"?

Super Bowl Eve
So the last week hasn't been that great, I got sick sometime last Saturday morning, missed work Monday, and have been recovering ever since. Sometimes it would feel as though I was trying to actually cough up one of my lungs. Not so good times. Anyway, on to happier topics...
I don't know what seems more exciting about tomorrow... the abundance of food and friends that will be at our apartment tomorrow for a Super Bowl party, the actual Super Bowl itself, the commercials for the Super Bowl, or the Grey's Anatomy episode that will run after the Super Bowl! I don't know about you but I am excited. The grill we be fired up outside and we will be huddled around the 42" plasma for warmth inside. Hopefully it will be good times for all.
