Harajuku 2005 Tour
You know, the thought of going to Gwinnett to see a concert doesn't really appeal to me that much... especially the drive and the traffic... but I may just have to make an exception!

Fried Cheese Grits
Was kind of bored this afternoon... nothing was on TV and I wasn't in the mood to clean the apartment... so I made Fried Cheese Grits! They're actually pretty easy to make. Almost as good as OK Cafe... I think I cut the triangles a little too big. And I didn't make the Jalepeno Cheese Dip to go along with it... maybe I'll try that in the next few days. Mmm... I'm stuffed.

rundown
This past week has been ok. Here's a rundown of the major highlights: Barry quit his job (yay!), we won $0 at Music Trivia (but we had one of the biggest teams), we won $50 at Adult Trivia (with just me, Barry, and John), rented In Good Company (not as good as I thought it would be) and The Notebook (chick-flick from a Nicholas Sparks book), watched Seeing Other People On Demand (weird Sundance movie), watching Legends of the Fall right now (still a great movie), saw Batman Begins last night (which I think is the best Batman movie ev-er!).

A little relaxation
Yep... so we're back from Pensacola, FL (aka Extended Weekend Vacay, aka Operation "Get Epstein Hitched", aka Who needs sun and sand when you've got Arlene?!). All in all it was good times... good friends, good food,

Jake's
Picked up some lunch at Jake's today, a Fried Green Tomato BLT... yummy. I was the only one there (at the Peachtree Hills location). So sad. Hopefully they are doing good business at other times of the day. I will have to go there more often... I keep forgetting it's over there.
Trivia addicts
So I was going through my old posts and came across this one. Apparently we have been playing Music Trivia at Cheyenne Grille for well over a year now. Some other bloggers play at Mellow Mushroom every week. It's cool that they keep a running total going of what they win. I have no idea how much money we have won... if we say an average of $10 a week * 52 weeks that we've been playing (give or take) = approx. $520? We've won second and third, but still have yet to win first place. Boo Snafu!

Extended Weekend Soon!
So today to prepare for our extended weekend trip to Pensacola/Gulf Breeze, I went to get a new bathing suit. I've also been sun-less tanning my legs. My arms aren't bad... except for the wicked tan lines I got at the Tech Baseball game a while back. Who knows if the weather will even be worth it. At least I'm prepared! Anyways, I'm not even a "beach person", but when you're in Rome...

Doughnut Day?!

I haven't had Krispy Kreme in months... maybe over a year. Sad I know.
