Ice Storm 2005!
So we got some ice/snow/sleet/rain. I stayed in all day! Mario Party marathon weekend* was interrupted by a 3-hour power outage.
* Well, not really a marathon... more like... we just got Mario Party 6, and all I want to do is get more stars! I'm such a dork.

Hump Day!
This week seems to be going by pretty quickly... nothing much really going on at work, which is nice for a change. The couple of weeks that I was back at work after vacation were a nightmare, trying to catch up on all the work that had piled up, but it is pretty much back to normal.
If anyone knows of a good place to get furniture, let me know. I want to get a leather club chair with ottoman and a console table. Been looking online, but there's only so much you can tell about how comfortable a chair is online.
My new phone came in the mail yesterday! A Nokia 6820... which is just an updated version of the phone I already have. But even though I have the phone it doesn't mean I can use it yet... stupid AT&T Wireless needs to do something to my account so that I will officially be a Cingular customer. So while I do have a nice new pretty phone... I can't use it! The bastards.

quick update
Christmas... got stocking stuffers, DVDs, Spa Sydell gift certificate, and diamond pendant necklace... good times
Vacation... went to Lake Lure, Jesse & Lacey's wedding, and the Ritz-Carlton on Lake Oconee... good times
Classes... taking an Anthropology course (Visual Culture) and a History course (Metropolitan Atlanta)... seems like good times so far
Work... been catching up on work since I was on vacation for a week, still feels like I'm behind, pretty stressful at times, but got an 8%+ raise at the beginning of the year... so-so times

In other news...
Longhorn is breaking ground on their new location where I work next Monday! Maybe they'll be open sometime this summer. Yay, for new places to eat for lunch! Not many places to go eat right now... there is a lot of construction being done at Lindbergh. Today I saw that a Fatburger is open... never heard of them before, but apparently they are very big in California... I'll have to give them a try sometime. Fatburger says that they are "The Last Great Hamburger Stand". Guess they will give the Fuddruckers in Home Depot some competition!
