Grades

I hate to gloat but... yay! I got two As for the semester, bringing my GPA up to 3.67. I know, I know... your're probably saying, "but you're in Graduate school, you're supposed to be making those kinds of grades"... but I say... I did not put much effort into these classes at all. Especially the last few weeks before finals. I'm just glad it's over. Now instead of concentrating on doing nothing for school, I can focus all my energy on doing nothing at work!

Cheat sheet for Barry

Since Barry says he doesn't know what to get me unless he has a list to go by... here are a few suggestions for him (or anyone else that wants to get me a present)...

Motorola RAZR V3 Camera Phone .1
anything from my Amazon wishlist .2
cute Christmas ornaments .3
.4
large mirror & console table for the dining room .5
anything in Vera Bradley Sherbet (I broke down and bought my first piece, the "Little Betsy" today... I know, it's so sorority-girlish... next thing you know I'll be getting everything monogrammed... ugh) .6
a house .7
chenille throw blanket for living room .8
jewelry .9
chocolate .10

weekend

This weekend was good, but seemed wayyyyy too short. Saw Closer with Barry and David & Lisa, which I thought was really good, especially Natalie Portman and Clive Owen (the two "lesser stars" in the movie). Saturday I got my car serviced in Decatur, stopped in at Whole Foods, and made dinner later that night. A pretty nice dinner if I do say so myself... grilled lemon thyme chicken on a bed of spinach, squash casserole, and chocolate fondue with strawberries, vanilla cake, and pineapple. I can try to be a domestic goddess when I want to be. =) Sunday was pretty lazy, spent too much time trying to play Super Mario Sunshine and not enough time doing stuff for school... less than two weeks to go for this semester!

mooosic

I must say I love Gwen's new CD... it is really inventive, different, and catchy. I keep playing it over and over as opposed to listening to the radio in my car. Guess I'm getting into dance music again. I want to buy Ferry Corsten's CD mainly for "Rock Your Body Rock" and DJ Eric Prydz's (a version of Steve Winwood's "Valerie") "Call On Me". The video for "Call On Me" is crazy...
