gameday!
So, it is off to grandma's house. And she she does practically live over the river and through the woods. I am talking of course of Hakeber's grandma. I haven't seen my grandparents since my dad's 40th birthday party (he is now 54). At the same we have the annual U(sic)GA vs. TECH game. I am expecting that TECH will have a very hard uphill battle to win. Need nothing short of a miracle to help us in this game.
Oh yeah, my website is down and that is why I am posting here. Oh yeah, and if you haven't picked up a copy of Elf, then you need to get off your lazy butts and pick one up before Christmas is here!

black friday?
Barry mentioned the phrase "Black Friday" yesterday... that was the first time I had heard of it... and then they talked about it on the news too. Not a big shopper the day after Turkey Day. So today, I went in to work for about an hour and a half. Then I went to Best Buy to pick up Gwen's new CD, the Velvet Revolver CD, and Dr. Mario for GameBoy Advance. I took Barry some Wendy's since he has been working since 5:45am today. Poor Barry. Right now I am watching Born Rich on HBO. I've seen it before, but it is still fascinating. Now on to other lazy things, maybe some laundry, maybe some cleaning, maybe some Dr. Mario!

More of the Same
Nothing really new in my neck of the woods. Work, eat, class, sleep. Repeat.
The only big news is about the election I guess. This was the first time I have actually cared enough to be educated about an election and go vote. I could have voted in 2000, but didn't keep up with politics at the time. As for the outcome, oh well. It is funny that every county I have ever lived in (3) voted Democrat, yet the states themselves (GA & NC) voted Republican. Anywho. I wouldn't mind moving to New England or Canada. Toronto is awesome. But Barry would say I wouldn't be able to stand the cold weather... I would much rather have cold weather than hot.
With regards to the whole gay marriage amendments, I will leave a quote from Gush Party, USA...
"I don’t remember much from Sunday School, but I do remember the golden rule; do unto others as you would have them do unto you. A majority of America voted “No” on Amendment #1, which will result in making gay unions unconstitutional across the board. America loves when queers makeover straight people, but apparently hates when gays and lesbians get to decide whether or not their partner stays on a life support machine. Don’t agnostic homosexuals have the same cognitive reasoning as Christian heterosexuals? Apparently not on Bush’s Animal Farm where, 'All animals are created equal… but some are more equal than others.'"
... my sentiments exactly.
