The Maize Maze
What do urban Atlantans do for fun on a Saturday night in October?! They go to a Maize Maze! I never knew this was so popular. Here's the one we went to at Cagle's Dairy, but look there are Maizes all over...
New York
Massachusetts
California
and even Italy!

tonight tonight
Dinner has been cooked. Baseball game is on the good ol HDTV (go Sox!). Now all I need is one Barry to get home. =)

Out with the old...
and in with the new. Everything is basically closing up shop here at Lindbergh (where I work and very close to where I live). Basically everything between Sidney Marcus and Morosgo Drive on the east side of Piedmont is going bye-bye. Making way for the new Sembler Company development to include a new Home Depot, Target, other retail, and apartments. A new Longhorn Steakhouse is also coming to the area in early 2005 at Piedmont and Lindbergh... to kind of replace the original Longhorn on Peachtree that closed back in August (I didn't know it closed until today!).
seafood
Ran across this article today about seafood restaurants in Atlanta. If anybody ever wants to go eat at Six Feet Under or Spondivits, I am there.

Day of Errands
So today I went to many different places... mostly to return stuff that I bought last week. Barry and I thought we were going to hook up the laptop to the plasma tv, but have decided otherwise (see previous entry). So I returned stuff at the Container Store and at CompUsa. In return I got cash money and a wireless notebook optical mouse. Trés cute. I also went to Blockbuster, Kroger, Eatzi's, Ethan Allen, and Roasters (the non Kenny Rogers kind). Yay, Tech just got a touchdown... our first touchdown in three weeks! Ok, stuff to do.

October already?!
A new month... guess it's time for an update. Have been reading a lot for class (the textbook and The Death and Life of Great American Cities). Have been going out to eat a lot since I haven't had a chance to get to the grocery store and buy some real food. But have eaten out at pretty good places... Wolfgang Puck Express, Maggiano's, Provino's, Buckhead Diner, and Ted's Montana Grill. Cleaned up the apartment a bit. We were going to hook up the laptop to the huge tv, but since the connections are on the front of the tv instead of the back it looks a little ghetto... and we didn't get the right cable either. Owel... the laptop is fine all by itself. Upcoming events? probably more of the same.
