HDTV
TV viewing is now at an all time high with the installation of HDTV Friday afternoon. This weekend has been pretty normal... laundry, reading for class, sleeping in, etc. Yesterday was the 1st annual apartment complex picnic (food, music, and fun!). Barry had to work all day, so I only caught a few songs from RLA on my way back from the fitness center. Who knew such great music could come out of Jefferson County? Anyway, need to try to clean up the apartment a little bit. Looking forward to next weekend already... Six Flags, GT Football, and a 3-day weekend!

couch potato
I've become a real couch potato in the last few days. the new tv has definately played a huge part in it... as well as WEBoggle. went to Target today after work to just pick up some new sunglasses (I couldn't find mine) and came out with snacky food stuff and an on sale X-Men 1.5 dvd... more couch potato goodness.

congrats to Pat and Ashley who are now engaged. you can read about Pat's ring story here, it's pretty funny... well maybe it's only funny because I know them, but anyway. Pat asks, "Had she given this some thought already or did girls get this kind of knowledge through genetics?" it has to be genetics... wide white gold or platinum band (ex. 1, ex. 2) with princess cut diamond... I am definately a material girl.

boo monday
so Saturday Barry and I went to a going away party for Megan Parker (she's spending 2 years in Micronesia!). also randomly found out that she went to high school with Complete Square... Sunday I tidied up the apartment a little bit... today will be a little more tidying up, some grocery shopping, etc etc... tomorrow a new TV will be coming my way and music trivia at Cheyenne Grille. why can't Monday be a little bit more like Tuesday? shame on you Monday, you keep letting me down.

Nelson, the parking deck kitten
One of our employees found a kitten in our parking deck yesterday... just meowing away. He is the cutest thing and just curls up in your lap and rubs all over your feet. =o) I am not taking him home though (I think Kozmo would go bonkers if I brought another cat home)... another one of our employees is. She's the one that named him Nelson. Sorry I don't have a picture to show... he looks like this cat, only 200 times cuter.

night by myself, no. 2
tonight was good. sushi from Cherry and a movie, The Company, from Zifty dot com... why didn't I know about this service sooner?!? forget about only having pizza, chinese, and the occasional sub sammich delivered. now I can be really lazy, but have better food delivered to my door. Awesomeness.

night by myself, no. 1
So I went to work today, had lunch with Barry at El Azteca, and dropped him at the MARTA station so he could go to the Airport. He landed safely in West Palm Beach. Tonight has included... possibly damaging one of my tires by hitting a curb, shopping at Pier 1 for things I really don't need, cooking bowtie pasta with an alfredo/mushroom/zucchini sauce, watching The Shape of Things on HBO. Kozmo is asleep next to me. =)
