The Cristina Show!
So a few days ago John, Barry, and I went to El Amigo. We talked, we ate some good food, we drank margaritas, and we watched Spanish TV. The Cristina Show came on and now I finally know what they were talking about! No habla Spanish.
from MSN.com:
Marc Anthony's soon-to-be-ex-wife has tearfully opened up for the first time about her split from the singer. The New York Daily News reports that Dayanara Torres confessed to Cristina Saralegui, who hosts Univision's mondo popular "The Cristina Show," that she's having a tough time moving on. "I asked her, 'Are you still in love with him?'" Saralegui relates to the paper. "And she answered, 'With all my heart and soul. I will be in love with him for the rest of my life.'" The couple, who split in January, has two children, 3-year-old Cristian and 7-month-old Ryan. Torres insists their marriage didn't shatter over claims made by another woman that Anthony fathered her child (he denies he's the daddy), but the former Miss Universe refused to go into detail. As for her estranged hubby's apparent relationship with Jennifer Lopez, Torres is quoted as saying, "I have shed a lot of tears over the years over that situation. If the tabloid rumors are true, I will shed more."

Silly numbers (from Heather)
Eight indicates the possibility of great success in business, finance, and politics. You are practical, ambitious, commited, and hardworking. You can also be jealous, greedy, domineering, and power-hungry. Eight is said to be the most unpredictable of numbers and can indicate the pinnacle of success or the depths of failure; it can go either way.
What does your name and arithmacy say about you? (some simple knowledge of adding is required on your part)

03.08.04 -- knoxville, tn
On the back of my laminate there's a big list of tour dates -- some dates that are highly anticipated, shows where I know the crowd energy will be there and the Gusters will rise to the occasion. We've played The Tabernacle in Atlanta three times now, and it could be my favorite venue in the entire country. It can show up on the back of my laminate any tour.

yay Saturday
last night's Guster concert may have been the best I've seen yet... except for the time when Brian sang "Kiss Me". if he sang last night, it would have been perfect! anyways, tonight Barry and I are going to Birthfest (if he ever gets home from work)... which is a big birthday party for Adam Johnson, Roommate Adam I Don't Know, Phoon, Andrew Lofstrand, and Tom Wroblewski.

good times
so Barry and John Hersman and I have been doing Music Trivia at Cheyenne Grille for the past few weeks... and we won $35 last night! Ten was a bonus round and twenty five was for getting 2nd place overall. While we were there, I could have swore I saw somebody from high school... Chris Collins. The guy resembled him, but who knows. I really didn't know him anyway... I knew his sister better, but it's not like I have talked to her since we graduated either. Anywho, today is the last day of class before Spring Break. And what do I get to do on my Spring Break? Work. I'm going to take a real vacation one of these days, I swear.
* update 06.06.05 - yes it was the guy from HS, along with the other three members of RLA... I realized it a few months later when I first found out about the band
