long time gone

hmm... what has been going on in my life? I think it's time for a list!

1. the Guster/Mayer concert was great, also got to see another band, Lithp, on the side stage that is pretty cool... hopefully I'll get a chance to hear them again sometime

2. last Thursday, I went to the Dogwood brewery with 3 guys and drank all the beer I wanted (around 4 beers if I remember correctly) with the purchase of a $2.50 Dogwood brewery pint glass... good times... then it was off to Nuevo Laredo for a whole lotta chips n salsa

3. went to the BYU @ Tech football game on Saturday... thought it was going to rain, but instead it was HOT, it didn't start raining until after the game was over... which was probably a very good thing

7. and I received my mini-diploma in the mail this weekend... ain't it cute?

countdown to GUSTER!

first off, if you don't like Guster, you suck. I get to go see the tomorrow night... John Mayer is also performing. Some would even say that Mr. Mayer is the "headliner"... but all the fans were told it would be a "co-headliner" type of thing. Boo Mr. Mayer. The last time I saw Guster was with Mr. Mayer also. Except that time no one knew who Mayer was... i.e. he wasn't on VH1 and MTV all the time. Fame has gotten to Mayer's head... but Guster is still the same fun and talented group they have always been. =) I can't wait! Good times are comin...

Feedreader

I am likin' this Feedreader thing already. I downloaded it today for the sole purpose of knowing when I get a comment on my webpage. Now I have other sites added so I know when [1] a blogger posts to their site, like clayton or [2] a news item has been posted to a site, like the AJC or Salon.com. Neat.

is a b@#$!, but yet feels strangely good.

this week has gone by too fast. it doesn't feel like I have really gotten anything accomplished. maybe now is a good time to start.

pumpin' iron... sorta

I really need to get in shape and slim down. Growing out of all of your jeans is one of the worst things that can happen... not only are you a size bigger, but you have to go out and buy new jeans too. I lifted some free weights today to work on my flabby arms and I even tried some online Astanga yoga. I liked it a lot and it was definitely harder than I expected it would be... maybe one day I will be as firm as Madonna! =) I can dream can't I? now off to work on my abs...

chico and chang... again!

looks like I have made a monster... a "chico and chang"-lovin'-monster... barry can't seem to get enough of the stuff. I introduced chico and chang to him a few months back, and now he seems to want it about once a week or every other week now (!). I was introduced to chico and chang by my freshman roommate at Tech, Nikki Cross, and have been ordering chinese delivery from there ever since. can someone ever get too much of a good thing? I think so... barry probably thinks not. =)
