soapy good-ness?
well after attending my first two classes of grad school, I must say that I think I'm going to like it . =) taking night classes does have its drawbacks though... the main one being that I have been sucked into watching soap operas (ack!). All My Children and Guiding Light. I used to watch them with my grandmother all the time when I was a kid. Funny, how you can pick right back up on a soap opera's storyline after not watching it for years! hopefully I'll be getting a daytime job soon so I can lose the soaps and have a steady income. I have no idea how working full-time and going to school part-time would work... but I'm
willing to give it a try.

waiting on books
not much going on in my neck of the woods. haven't heard anything from jobs I have applied for. classes don't start until Monday. I feel like I should be going on vacation somewhere exotic, but I don't have the means or the money to do it right now... -got- the time... just nothing else. spent $137 on 5 books yesterday and now I just have to wait for them to arrive. I'm excited and nervous at the same time about starting grad school. I think that I'm going to be more interested in the classes I'm taking now than the -majority- of the ones I had to take as an undergrad... like Physics, Calculus, Biology, and Revolutionary Europe... to name a few. I might just have to take in a few gt band parties this week for some excitement. =o

a no-mail day
nothing much to say, except that a no-mail day is a very slow day =( I like snail mail.
